Shield-Sister Hrotti Blackblade was an Atmoran warrior and one of the members of the original Five Hundred Companions.[1][2]:155
HistoryEdit
Little is known about the life of Hrotti Blackblade. As one of the original Five Hundred Companions,[2]:155 she hailed from Atmora, swore the Oath of the Companions, and answered Ysgramor's call to venture south. It is unknown which ship she served aboard, but each crew was expected to make its own way, seeking its fate beneath the open sun.[3]
Little else is known of her deeds in Mereth, but her line of daughters continued to serve as proud Shield-Sisters of the Companions for generations. Their legacy endured at least until 4E 201, when Aela the Huntress claimed direct descent from her and fought in honor of all her Shield-Sisters throughout the ages.[1][2]:155
